Sheep Clock
So when I was thinking “What creatures stand and stare?” – well, sheep of course!
I have spent my life in rural places surrounded by sheep in all the fields, without paying much attention to them, but I know a lot of you do. I enjoyed etching all the curls in her wool.
The main part of the clock is etched brass, and I etch the brass for the sheep, and draw all the details, then I cut out the sheep, then solder all together, and colour the main part turquoise. The main part of the clock has text that says “Time to stand and stare.” It is around 20cm high by 20cm across (8 inches by 8 inches). It has a AA battery operated mechanism.
