Wren Clock
A new design for 2025. A little wren on red copper with leaves.
I love the way this little wren came out, and he sits nicely on the clock. I think its nest building time.
The materials I used for this clock are brass and copper, and when the copper is heated it turns the red colour, and I also drew into it. The wren was carefully cut out and etched in brass, and heated to get all the colour variations. I am re-using a Bees clock copper base, so there is some etched writing on the back but doesn’t show.
It has a battery powered movement, and is about 15cm high. The main picture shows a wall mounted version. You can also order it as a freestanding clock, choose below which you’d like when ordering.
