Curlews Wall Clock
This Curlews wall clock is handmade in brass and copper. It shows the beautiful silhouettes of two curlews, typical (and threatened) Northumbrian birds, you can hear them calling across the moors in summer, and feeding at the coast in the winter.
As the clock is cut out and etched by me by hand, each one comes out a bit different. The main body of the clock comes in a beautiful turquoise verdigris colour. The clock hands are black, and show up well against the background.
The text etched onto the central brass part is ” The twilight darkens, the curlew calls.”It is 14cm tall, 18cm across, and has a battery powered movement. It is designed to hang on the wall.
